Training proposal

Today I submitted a proposal for funding for a Training Kitchen for children and a Training Machine Knitting area.
The machine knitting area is part of a collaboration with an Urban Market to bring back the cottage industry to the city. The plan is to provide commercial knitting machines and tools to undergraduate students and those who are unemployed with an opportunity to develop technical skills. My long term goal is to set up a knitting factory. My role in this knitting training area will be to teach basic machine knitting techniques, manage the program and manufacture knitted items for resale. I am wishing that we will receive funding in the near future.
Knitting manufacturing area - Option A
Machines - KH 940; Passap e6000; four circular knitting machines; two desks and shelving.
Knitting manufacturing area - Option B
Machines - KH260; KH 940; Passap e6000; four circular machines; two desks and shelving.
An additional 10'W x 20'L x 10'H is also a possibility for yarn storage and finished products.

The training kitchen proposal is a separate part of the Urban Market. This kitchen is to teach school children the importance of learning to cook fresh food, make healthy choices and instill habits that will help them for the rest of their lives. The Urban Market will involve the local community. As part of the proposal, I have submitted three kitchen design concepts. With a good experience in space layout of commerical and residential kitchens, this was a lot of fun. I hope that my ideas and suggestions come to fruitition!!
