Knit Tops (a new brand)

 

These photos are of my line of Spring and Summer 2013 Pima and Brown cotton tops. These luxuriously ultra soft cotton knitted garments are made with yarn exclusively spun for my specifications. After hand dyeing the yarn myself, I design and knit with various tuck stitch  and hand manipulated lace patterns. Each piece is unique in color, pattern, size and shape. Some tops are reversible, with identical knit patterns on the front and back. The sizes vary from adult small, medium to large. The mufflers are a full rib pattern for a corporate sophisticated look for both men and women. Necklaces are color coordinated to match the apparel. The glass pendants are hand picked  to coordinate with the knitwear. I proudly own this US grown, Made in USA, cotton collection and wish that people will wear and value their purchase.


It has a very soft comfortable hand, a sophisticated fall and drape around the body. The garments do not cling and will not have static charge. The fabric breathes to keep you cool in the summers and warm in the winters.

Laundry instructions: Hand wash in tepid water with  mild detergent, I use a small dot of shampoo. In the final rinse use hair conditioner, I use Pantene curly. Spin it in the washer to let out all the extra water. Dry on delicate cycle, low heat, wrinkle care or tumble dry. You may have to use two cycles. Hang immediately after drying. Do not lay flat to dry or hang on a hanger while wet or damp. Iron on hot, steam setting to smooth or stretch to size. I do not recommend stretching too much with your iron instead, wear it and it will stretch only to the size of your body. After wearing it a few times, it will stretch, wash it to bring it back to its smaller size. The more you wash, the fuller and better the yarn becomes.

Be careful of sharp edges on jewelry, bracelets and necklaces. I recommend buying the matching cotton cording necklaces with the glass pendants. These are smooth and will not snag your garment.
